HOW DO I KNOW I'LL FIND INNOVATIONS THAT CAN HELP MY BUSINESS?

Moonshots & Moneymakers isn’t your average tech conference, nor is it a B2B trade show. What it is, is a think tank style conference borne out of a desire to solve real business problems with the help of the latest innovations and transformative strategies. Our first conference in 2019 brought together a mix of tech companies, non-tech companies, and thinkers on the cutting edge of new technologies to tackle those problems. From robots that can clean corners for a B2B cleaning company to software that can outsource expensive IT needs and beyond, we’re bringing real solutions to every kind of business challenge.

I'M NOT A TECHNOLOGY COMPANY. WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?

Digital technology is advancing rapidly. Technologies like robotics, automations, AI, and digital software solutions can help non-tech businesses scale up, streamline operations, create a more efficient workforce, and attract capital in ways that you haven’t dreamed of. Moonshots & Moneymakers is a think tank style conference where real world businesses across industries find technology that solves real problems for themselves and their customers and identifies a path to scalability.

I'M A TECHNOLOGY COMPANY. WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?

This isn’t your average tech conference where all of the attendees are like-minded thinkers with similar business plans. Moonshots & Moneymakers brings together tech companies, non-tech companies, and cutting edge innovators into one room to solve real world business problems, network across industries, and discover the very latest in technological innovations – brought to you by Birthing of Giants, the entrepreneur masterclass with more Inc. 5000 winners than any other, Rider University’s Norm Brodsky College of Business, and the billion dollar R&D arm of Oxford University.

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES?

The custom software company that evolved into a SaaS and went from $4mm in revenues to $75mm in revenues without adding one hire. The traditional manufacturer who designed a platform to create virtually unlimited capacity by building the Uber of machine shops. The air conditioner repair business that started their own trade school, then took it all online, doubling many times along the way. The B2B office furniture provider who discovered that selling small products through Amazon unlocked the real business lurking within. The ways to transform your financial model are infinite and extremely powerful.

WHAT'S THE CERTIFICATE?

By completing Moonshots and Moneymakers, you will receive a certificate from the hosting institutions, The Norm Brodsky College of Business @ Rider University, St. Stephen’s, a private hall at Oxford University, Birthing of Giants and Oxentia, a technology transfer arm of Oxford University. WHAT IS THE NORM BRODSKY COLLEGE OF BUSINESS @ RIDER UNIVERSITY?

The Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University holds dual accreditation with AACSB International for their business management and accounting programs. Norm Brodsky, Birthing of Giants’ Entrepreneur-in-Residence, is an alumnus at Rider, and frequently partners with this forward thinking university to provide unique mentoring and networking opportunities to the students.

WHAT IS Oxentia?

Oxentia is Oxford University’s technology arm. Oxford University receives over $1 billion of research and development capital each year, making it arguably the top research university in the world.

What is Oxford University and St. Stephens College?

St Stephen’s House is one of the forty-four colleges and private halls that make up the University of Oxford. A Permanent Private Hall of Oxford University, St Stephen’s House is one of the most private and exclusive locations in the university – a quiet haven set in a beautiful former monastery yet in the bustling cosmopolitan end of the city with international cuisine and characterful shops nearby.

What’s Oxford like?

It’s Hogwarts (Harry Potter fans will understand that). It’s a place of incredible creativity. It’s where some of the greatest thinkers of the past 1000 years, from Copernicus to Roger Bannister have created the greatest breakthroughs in the world. It’s also a beautiful modern British city where people of all ages come to enjoy the sunshine, campus and gardens in the summer.

Why are there Rider University students in this program?

Each year, a small number of students from The Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University compete to attend the conference as mentored students. The energy and insight they bring to the future envisioning of our businesses is critical to our process of re-imagining our businesses for the next generation.

Should I bring my family? My college-age kids?

Family businesses and college aged kids are welcome at the conference. Mention in your invitation form if you’d like to bring your college-aged student along, or if you’d like more than one invitation for your company.
